MEMBER TRAINING
The " Member Training " mission is to assist our members in gaining the required training necessary to reach the goals they desire with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary.
Auxiliarists can pursue training in the Auxiliary Member Training programs to increase their knowledge and skills, as well as to attain qualifications for participation in various Auxiliary and U.S. Coast Guard programs.
Special qualifications are available as instructors, vessel examiners, aids to navigation verifiers, marine dealer visitors, boat crew and coxswains, pilots and air observers.
Members may specialize in any or all of the seven different specialty areas in the operational and administrative fields. The seven specialty areas are Seamanship, Navigation, Communications, Search and Rescue, Patrols, Weather and Administration.
FUTURE TRAINING SCHEDULED
PLEASE ADVISE THE MEMBER TRAINING OFFICER IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ATTENDING CLASSES IN ANY OTHER OF THE AVAILABLE SUBJECTS.
