The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary was established by the Congress in 1939 to assist the Coast Guard in promoting boating safety. We are made up of over 33,000 men and women just like you. We assist the Coast Guard in non-law enforcement programs such as public education, safety patrols, search and rescue missions, and vessel safety checks. Not only is Flotilla 71 active on the water, we also serve the Coast Guard with our air operations program.
For more information on how you can be a member of The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary contact the Flotilla Commander or Vice-Commander
Visitors and prospective members are always welcome to our monthly meetings. We meet the first Tuesday of every month at the U.S. Coast Guard Marine Safety Office, 555 N. Carancahua, on the 5th floor, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Meetings start a 7:00 P.M.
